The Young Weavers will be taking to the Weavers Wheels cycle network with pickers at the ready on Sunday, February 19th.
The group will be starting at McDonalds in Whitebirk, cleaning a section of the new Weavers Wheel cycle network to help keep the area clean and safe for all cyclists.
Established in 2014 The Young Weavers club aims to encourage families and individuals within our borough to get out and become more active together.
Thanks to the Your Call project the group are able to help keep their environment clean by being provided with the correct equipment.
Due to spending cuts the council decided to launch the Your Call campaign that gives residents the opportunity to make their community cleaner and a safer place to live in. Whether this is litter picking or even looking after a neighbour.
Your call currently has over 9,000 volunteers.
If you wish to help your community please email yourcall@blackburn.gov.uk or call (01254) 588188
