Grand National Travel Advice
Northerns travel advice for customers travelling to and from the Grand National at Aintree
‘Services to and from Liverpool Lime Street will be limited. The last Northern train is scheduled to leave Liverpool Lime Street station at 18:30, before the Grand National Event is over. Customers who want to travel by train after then will need to use other train operator services from Liverpool Lime Street or consider alternative forms of travel for their journey home. Please be aware that any services we are able to run will be extremely busy. Northern are doing their best to keep people on the move’.
