Kev’s Midweek Rides
Every Tuesday in May at 6.30pm on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th – 11 miles
A regular 11-mile ride starting on Queens Road West outside St Christopher’s school, BB5 4FF. We ride up to Rosegove and then left to Padiham and then back via Clayton. Main road all the way but this ride allows us to continue riding in the darker winter months on what’s now an established Tuesday evening ride. A few good climbs and some great flat riding keeps us spinning and warm all the way.
Every Wednesday in May at 6.30pm on 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th – 11 miles
A regular evening ride starting from the bottom of Pleckgate Road near the Knowles Arms, BB1 8QW. We ride out through Wilpshire and Langho heading down to Whalley.
Please note that on the Tuesday & Wednesday rides, Vicky won’t always be able to attend and lead. The aim of these rides has always been to encourage riders to just turn up and ride the route regardless of who arrives. Vicky has been building these rides for two years now and they’re steadily becoming established as just a Tuesday or Wednesday evening ride, continuity is the key here.
