As part of older people’s day a group visited Blackburn’s Witton Park for a scenic tour around the grounds.
Older people got on board electric trampers, which are available to hire for free from Witton park’s cycle centre.
They were able to go off-road and took part in a guided tour around the park whilst others walked alongside.
The activity was organised thanks to the Council’s Connect project, which aims to promote sustainable transport across the borough and works with communities to prevent isolation.
