A joint bid has been prepared by Lancashire County Council and Blackburn with Darwen Council for sustainable transport funding.
£2m is being requested from the DFT Access fund or the period 2017 – 2020 to help residents and visitors access skills and employment in East Lancashire and promote more active travel.
If successful we will be able to continue the work undertaken by the Connect project since 2012 – fingers crossed!
