Active Sustainability Roadshow at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital

On Thursday 4th October, the Connecting East Lancashire Project visited Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital to deliver an ‘Active Sustainability Roadshow’ engaging both staff and visitors with an array of cycling and walking information, FREE merchandise, promotional material, electric bikes and electric vehicles.

Ian Gibbs from I Cycles Electric assisted the team by bringing an array of Electric Bikes for people to try.  A number of staff were very interested and enjoyed having a quick go on an Electric Bike.  At 1pm an Electric Bike Ride went from the main reception where two female members of staff went with Ian on a 30 minute ride.  Safe to say the ladies had a thoroughly enjoyable time!
